Awhile back I posted about a less than satisfactory experience using the onX GIS platform app on my Android phone. To this day i don't know if it was the phone, the user (me) or the program that gave me such a hard time. That was last year. I just got back from a few days on pronghorn hunting in Wyoming and wanted to follow up.

Using the same phone, the program preformed flawlessly. I had the phone on "airplane mode" with my gps enabled. I did download maps for specific areas of interest prior to the hunt, but I honestly don't know if I even used them, as the map seemed to update consistently.

Having the app installed on my phone gave me the confidence to shoot my first pronghorn, off of a postage stamp sized chunk of state land, only 20 yards from the property line.

Very impressed with the product. Thanks.
