Recently retired from the Air Force and settled in Cheyenne. I was able to draw a cow elk tag for area 10. Any pointers, tips, or suggestion would be appreciated. It feels good to finally settle down in a state and focus on hunting. Thanks,

Get far, far, far away from the roads. You won't believe the road hunting circus in parts of that unit. Fallen Pines should actually have police presence to control the traffic. The good news is that after a day or two, you will be able to watch hundreds of elk that have fled to the private ranches below Centennial.

Get a mile from the roads and you will do fine.
