Georgia turkey

Any advice on public land hunting for turkey or hog in southern Georgia?

Spring is about a month early this year. Prepare for gnats and ticks. Keep an eye out if hunting near a boundary. Deer clubs feed year round sometimes. You can get popped for hunting near a feeder even if you didn't know it was there. Scoped muzzleloaders are legal. Can't really think of anything else that isn't about the same as hunting Easterns on public land anywhere else.

Bird numbers in some places have been really low the past few years. Some areas are just fine, though.

Check out some of the military bases that allow access. I think you have to sign up on line.
