Would you burn 6 points on a Wyoming general tag?

Once you have the points why not use them?

Someone suggested a reduced price cow tag in an area that looks good in the next few years. If using them now = burning em is go that route.

From experience... you can get a good tag, better than general with 6 points. Like everyone else you'll have to figure out where that is, but if you figure out what units you can draw right at that point level you'll be good.

Don't burn 6 points on a general tag. There are many great tags you can draw as a nonresident for 6 points and even more you can draw with special and 6 points.
