I was trying to explain to a 5-year old the complexities and paperwork
of Alaska's defense of life and property statue involving bears.
The 5 year old looked up at me and asked:
Bison, moose and deer are all herbivores.
Why do Bison poop Bison pies,
Moose poop Moose nuggets, and
Deer poop Deer pellets?
I pondered on that as he was right based on
the Bison pies I saw at Delta Junction,
Moose nuggets at 40-Mile Country and
Blacktailed Deer pellets on Kodiak Island.
I had to admit I was stumped...
