Wyoming Archery elk

Have hunted Wyoming several times but this year will be my first for elk with archery equipment. Hopeing for bugling elk ,and nicer weather. . No more cold and snow elk hunting for me.At 62 years old it is time to change .

At 55 sometimes I feel the same about the cold, however, the thrill of the hunt keeps dragging me out to the woods.

I rifle hunted Wyoming this year (for cows), but my season opened October 1st. It made finding the elk fairly easy. Still would have been really tough with a bow, but that's what makes it fun..

I know EXACTLY what you mean.... I hunted Archery in September and only had to deal with a little rain.....Then hunted in October in 15+ inches of fresh snow....It sucked!

Might even try my luck in the Black Hills.
