NOSLER wants to see your success

2016 pronghorn and elk. Both shot with 300wsm 190gr Accubond Long Range. Both animals hit high shoulder and dropped at the shot. Antelope shot at 542 yards, and elk at 355. Couldn't be more impressed with the performance of this bullet!

Three very nice NV mule deer served as testament to Nosler lethality this week.

Mine would be smallest of the three if recorded on an official score sheet.

.308 Win shooting 165 grain Nosler Partitions

The other two.

Matthew's buck with the same load - .308 Win with 165 grain Partitions

Here's my son with the little 4pt I shot this year in E MT. Tikka T3 .308 Nosler Custom 165gr Accubond

Shot was 290 yards slightly quartered, heart/lung hit and recovered the bullet lodged in the femur

I also filled a Deer B tag with a nice mature Muley doe and again the Accubond was flawless.

And here's my dad's buck from that same trip:

I wish I could figure out how to rotate these photos. My dad's buck was all Noslered out--shot with a M48 Heritage 26 Nosler rifle using 88 grains of US869 behind a 129 grain ABLR. That deer was shot at around 500 yards. The first shot just barely scraped some hair off the buck's back--Pops was not used to such a flat-shooting round and unnecessarily overcompensated for bullet drop. The next shot dropped the deer instantly.

Time to put up this years.

Wyoming Antelope, 75 yards, 6.5 Creedmoor 140 grain Partition.

Montana Antelope, 60 yards, 6.5 Creedmoor, 140 grain Partition.

Montana Deer, 120 yards, .300 Win, 150 grain E-Tip

All my coues bucks were killed in Arizona's Coronado National Forest with a handloaded 257 Wby. shooting 110 gain Accubonds at a smidge under 3400 fps.

Picture 035.jpg

2009, this was my first deer. This little guy stuck around a little too long, a frontal shot dropped him at~50 yards. The bullet passed through front to back.

100_1075.jpg

2012, 280 yards broadside, high lung/spine shot dropped him where he stood. The bullet excited.

2013, ~50 yards broadside, had no choice but to aim for the front shoulder. The bullet held together did massive damage and exited. The buck made it about 15 yards and piled up.

2014, ~200 yards broadside lung shot, the buck went about 20 yards.

2016, 240 yards quartering away. The bullet hit the inside point of the shoulder and deflected slightly up into the neck/spine. The buck dropped and rolled down the hill a bit and never moved again.
