What information can you spare me for North Cache unit. i have done a lot digiscouting i see there are a lot of backpacking trails looks pretty good. I wanna hear some stories and opinions from people who have been there. thank you
Not a great unit but very good looking country. Every few years a decent bull is taken out of there but in all reality it's a 5 point unit. You could have a good hunt but more than likely you will hunt your butt off for a 5 point.
I drew this hunt in 2012. Went solo on horses and covered a ton of ground. I thought it was going to happen on a 340+ bull, but Mother Nature wouldn't allow it. Did you draw a tag, or just looking. There are usually a few good bulls on this unit, but they're tough to find. Not sure how much the winter affected them last year either.
