Just bragging a bit. My wife drew a left over cow tag for the Black Hills in Dec. I love hunting my state of SD especially the Black Hills any animal we take there is a trophy to us. So hopefully we will be having elk for Christmas dinner. She is excited.
She has taken a couple whitetail bucks and a doe in the area we will be hunting. Also she hasn't been hunting in about 8 yrs (motherhood is time consuming) she cant believe she gets to try for an elk for her first return hunt into the woods!
