Anyone ever hunted western Kansas public land for turkeys? Just curious what the oppurtunity is there

Lots of opportunity there. Not many tags though?, most of the hunting is north, south and east...not west unless you are northwest corner. Not sure what non-residents are eligible for? in terms of permits.
