Arizona unit 1

I'm heading to unit 1 in Arizona in a couple of weeks for the late rifle elk hunt and was just looking to see if anyone has been in the unit this year and how things are looking. I have talked to a lot of people who have hunted there in the past but things change year to year and definitly after the Wallow fire.

I have a few glassing spots marked but would like to find a few more, and how good is the escudilla wilderness? Also if the weather is dry can you get around fine in a truck or is an ATV needed?
