Checked the Minnesota DNR web site today drew my season B tag. I will not be picking my gun up this year, Bow only, NO MATTER if I get one or not. Used shot gun on last day last year and took a jake, good eating.

OTC tag for me this year, I forgot the application date in Wisconsin again. Turkeys dont do much for me anyways.

applying on Friday...we got a late season here in Colorado...when is it in your states?

I just got my postcard in the mail today that I drew for MN first week. Unfortunately I didn't get as lucky for WI.

I'll be chasing them in Oklahoma. I am fortunate to have a lifetime Oklahoma license so I get 3 tags for free. If I fill them I'll propably head for KS or NE.

I drew my MN season E lic i like going lil later here in MN i usually hunt WI and SD as well might try New Mexico this year tho and see what it is like down there.

Damn, it is nice to live in a state with no draw for turkey and be bordered by several states with no draw! 'I would probably go nuts in the spring if I could not turkey hunt and then turkey hunt some more and then turkey hunt!

Considering Wyoming/South Dakota after I hunt Montana.Course I say that every year and never get passed S.D.

Those are all Merriams...got a bud who wants to whack a bird in every state that has turkey, He has hunted MT but struck out, He only does swap hunts. If you are interested in a Rio, let me know and I will put you in touch with each other,

I loved my hunt in SD, more Birds up there then any place I've ever hunted. 2-3K goobles a morning, it's awesome. Just got to watch your back for Big Cats and Yote's.

All I need is the Asceola

Got our permits applied for...now just have to wait and see...Dave I think you need an Osceola unless there is a new breed around;)

4 is the limit for me here in Texas. I don't spend much time turkey hunting though. Lots more meat on a pig than a turkey and there isn't a limit on pigs.

npaden, I've killed more deer then I can remember so looking for meat is not the issue. The Turkey is sure enjoyment. What else would it be for ? not that much meat to justify the time and money.
Mud I am currently looking into a Fla hunt. If not this year then next. Most likely I will do a public land hunt. The public land pressure is intense so I am doing my research.
