Alaknak Waterproofing

I have a 7-year old Alaknak 9 x 9, and when I used it this year found that the coating was starting to flake off the inside of the fabric. I did not get any real rain while out in the field, so leaks were not an issue, but I can see it coming.

Has anyone tried to recoat an Alaknak? Other than that, and being small, it has been a good tent, standing up to rain, wind and snow.

Thanks for any input.

My 12x12 hasn't delaminated, but it was pooling some water in the corners. I wad told by Cabela's customer service that Nikwax had a Gear Waterproofing/UV protectant that works very well. I will be treating it this Spring. Also to fix the pooling, I cut the corner poles 3" shorter so there was a little more tension, and the water could drain instead of sitting there.
