Deer - lets see em

First pic is my first buck with a bow. Nice 9 point that came off public land here in KY. A lot of scouting paid big dividends.

Second pic is my biggest deer to date. Huge bodied deer that was very, very old. I'd guess him to be somewhere around 8 years old. Tried to judge by his teeth, but he literally didn't have any to go by. He had a belly full of corn that hadn't been chewed and a broken nose with a large puncture wound. He was a private land deer and my second with my .308 handloads.

2014 Idaho Mule deer (archery)

I scouted for 9 day days and was able to put an arrow in him on my 14th day of hunting. I have never worked so hard for a deer in my life. It was a blast and I hope I get to do it again next year!

Veteran's Day 2014 Muley

I shot this buck this morning following does in my MT Moose Unit #104. Still no moose, but who cares! 8x7 good points, and 3 more on each base that would count too.

Found this guy partnered up with two other bucks in the sub zero temps last week.
