Trophy Room Pics

Well this could be a mess, but someone mentioned the new guys should put some up, so here goes. I haven't gotten a few uploaded, but will figure it out, probably later than sooner.

passinthru,

Are the fighting whitetails a locked set or just two bucks you decided to have mounted that way?

Passinthru, that whitetail is an absolute GIANT! What did it score? My guess is 180.

That's my oldest daughter Gabrielle showing off after we got it back from the taxidermist. Unfortunately I found this buck dead in March a couple years ago. I was shed hunting and stumbled upon the carcass, couldn't tell what happened it was picked clean by coyotes and what not. But couldn't believe nothing had chewed on the rack. That is how I found the locked bucks also, a couple years before this one. I'm not that good of a hunter, so I have to go scavenge for the dead stuff. My wife would like if I'd quit dragging stuff home.

Tone that is how the locked bucks were found, I have the pics. but they are pretty gross. Stupidly I tried to pull them apart, fortunately they won't come apart. One is a wide eight, taxidermist thought 130-135, the other is a ten, he thought maybe 150. I'm not that good of a scorer so I just go by that. I think I shot over the back of the ten the fall before I found them, he came in right under my stand and sent an arrow right over him @ 5 ft.( insert gremlin banging head against wall.) I'm an excellent shot, but when you get anywhere out past 2 or 3 feet things get pretty sketchy for me.

I was a waterfowler until I fell in love with deer hunting in 2007. Now, when I go hunting for waterfowl, I can't keep from thinking about deer.

Taxidermist said 190 5/8 gross, I never asked about net. I'm pretty sure I won't shoot or find one of this caliber again.

Not too much in my trophy room but we are working on it :hump:

Here is what I have so far, hope to add a lot more in the coming years. I hope this works. If so all of the deer are blacktail other than the european whitetail.

Any of you new guys got some pictures?

I don't have much to offer. But here are all of the animals that I've shot worthy of putting on the wall.
