looking for any info on this hunt? ,anybody else hunted here before?looks like access is ok,though not alot of "high country"are the elk here or is it migratory?

has anybody got any pointers for any of the units by this? this is out at the se corner of shoshonie national forest?

Units 25 nd 27 straddle south pass. There are migratory elk there that run between bondurant and the red desert. Any particular reason why you chose these areas? Unit 28 has "high country" although if you venture in to the wilderness area you must have a licensed wyoming guide seeing as you are a non-resident.

Im eye balling it for this years app,,,but havnt found much info on unit 25-27,,,is it a hit or miss migratory area? or do elk hang out there all fall? is early october better than late october? season is the whole month of oct.there is a fair amount of blm land there but its not that high,,,would the elk be in higher country during late rut? or would they posibly be in some of the lower blm type areas?

any body out there with info on the elk in this area? beins its next to the popular unit 100 and at the s e corner of the wind river mts,im hopin this will be a awesome elk hunt,,,though Ive dug for info and cant find too much?
