We are planning on mule deer hunting in the area. A few family member would rather hunt antelope in area 16. Advice? Good numbers?

Both are doable with the proper maps and a GPS with landowner chip IF you want to park and do a lot of walking because there are very few public roads that allow legal access to the public land. Most is on the east side of the unit accessed off the Lower Powder River Road that runs north and south along the eastern boundary of the unit. There is a link to a map of Johnson County roads on the deer forum under unit 26.
