What are you looking forward to/hoping for in 2021?

I'm hoping for the end of the pandemic. I'm hoping to draw a really great tag or 2. I'm looking forward to another great year spending time with my wife and kids. I'm looking forward to hunting, fishing, to being around a bonfire or table with good friends and family. Even though 2020 was a challenging year it also gave me a new appreciation for things I tend to take for granted and I'm thankful for that.

-Staying healthy and hoping COVID comes to an end
-Seeing my last one off to college and moving out of the Peoples Republic of Western Oregon.
- hoping to draw on a few of the zillion points I have spread out all the west.

Finding another buck to finish out this season chasing is first on the list.

-NFL playoffs and Superbowl

-Turkey season

-The crappie spawn

-The catfish spawn

-Antelope tag

-A primo NM deer tag

-The start of the deer season at home to get me back to this point all over again.

More than anything else I am looking forward to containment of the stupid virus so that folks can get together with friends and family again.

2021 Goals to look forward to:

My first bear
A new mount (equine)
a desert mule deer archery hunt
Watching high school basketball

Getting to know my grandson.
Hunting every possible season with my wife.
Fishing every possible weekend in between hunting.
Working my dogs till they tire of the field (which will NEVER happen, getting tired of of the field, that is).
Remembering that in the end, I am blessed, no matter what 21 brings.

I'm looking forward to everything going back to normal and the opening of the Canada/USA border so I can go poke some holes in animals south of the border.

*Seeing my mother again for the first time since she turned 90 in December
*First grandson in February
*Oldest daughters wedding next fall
*Middle daughters college graduation
*Step-son starting his first career after the military and graduating college
*Being able to straighten my leg without pain once again (knee replacement slayed for March)
*It not being an election year
*Likely be some hunting and fishing scattered throughout the year like always....

Turkey season in a few months.

Getting hernia and gall bladder surgery out of the way in time for hunting Africa again in July. Gotta wait till COVID is cleared from the hospitals.

Haircuts

At least you still have hair.
I have so little that I bought hair clippers and just have my wife or son zip everything off to a #4 all over. The clippers paid for themselves in just 2 haircuts as opposed going to the barber which is closed anyway.

If I do it will be for pronghorn and I'll have no idea what I'm doing lol
