Wa Archery Elk

Anybody with insight on archery elk, Eastern Washington? I've hunted rifle for a number of years and almost connected on a nice bull on a special permit, but the earlier archery season changes the game. Not sure what to expect. Usually hunting 340 Manastash but I'd go elsewhere if the opportunities were better. Deer too for that matter.

All I know is if you come too far east to where I am, near the blues, all you can shoot is a spike or cow with a general tag. There is a good chance to kill a cow in the blues though if you aren't hunting for horns.
