Has anyone tried the Vortex Talon HD's? I had a pair of Diamondbacks, but my wife gave me the okay to upgrade so I thought I might give them a try.

I don't have Talons but the Viper HD's are great glass and for the money are hard to beat or even come close in my eyes. with that being said try to look thru them everyone eyes see different things but that HD is nice and doesn't strain your eyes when looking thru them for hours. good luck with your purchase

I think that for the money, the Vulture and Talons are GREAT glass. The Viper HDs(what I have) are better, but the Talons are no slouch either.
