Climbed the tree to get him to jump. Quite a rush to be 20 ft up a tree and 5 ft from a kitty. Had to poke him with a little stick to get him to jump. Fun day.

Good job. I had a dog take a tumble from about 15 feet up under a pinion pine yesterday. Another dog was playing with the cat above that.

Just curious...what is the purpose of making the cat jump? Keep the chase going and work the dogs? Thanks for sharing!

Yes, jump the cat and let the young dogs see it.. turn them loose and hopefully they tree it on their own. Let the lead dogs go once they catch it. Usually a, short race.
