Well after a couple months of searching, I finally found a dealer who could get this gun. I absolutely love it! Picked it up Thursday, got a new scope mounted on it yesterday and sighted in. Shot it in an indoor tube from a bench on a sled. At 100 yards it was hard to differentiate the hole from 3 shots! One tack driving son of a gun! Fall cannot get here soon enough to shoot at a live target.

I just picked up one of these Bear Hunters in 300WSM. In a pickle about what glass to put on it. Are you still lovin' yours or is the honeymoon over yet? What glass did you use? I was hoping this would be a 500-700 yard gun. ......EXCITED

Nikon 3-9 x 40mm, and still loving it. You could easilty put a better quality (more $$) scope on it, but this seems to work just fine for me.

been eye-balling a Zeiss 4x14x44,,,,,,but a little pricey. Have you by chance tried any of the Federal 130gr factory loads in the 300WSM?
