Bear Pistols for bow hunters?

Yes I carry one. Will I use it before spray? Probably not. Do i have to battle the urge to blast squirrels every time one chatters at me? Without a doubt…

Excellent reply, thank you for that insight. While I do believe that the .44 magnum would be plenty of power for a bear, a .357 has a lot less recoil and has proven to be effective. All of the research I have done would suggest that the ammunition availability is far better for the .357 as well.
 
Has anyone used a drone for grizzly patrolling? If so what do you recommend?? Does it have firepower?
