I'm from Eastern Kentucky and live in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains in Kentucky. I've been hunting forever and can remember never seeing a deer or turkey. Been backpack hunting here the last few years and starting to look at heading out west. Been watching Randy on youtube for years as I don't have cable and I wear shoes sometimes, and yes I do have the accent lol.

I worked with a hillbilly for awhile. Great guy but I only understood about half of what he said. I once asked him how he cooked his venison. I loved his response. "Fried in lard, just like everything else."
