Hey All, I am new to the forum and have thoroughly enjoyed reading all the stories and viewing the pictures. That being said, I figured I would post up a few pictures of my own over the next couple weeks. This trip took place last year in New Mexico. To say it was a great hunt is an understatement. Taking two great animals on dry ground with hounds made this hunt one of my all time favorites. Still debating what to do with the bear, as I currently have it flat skinned, but it is a beauty of a black bear and ages at roughly 18 years old.

Thanks guys, they are both good animals, especially for New Mexico. The tom was just shy of 9'. Outfitter guessed him at nearly 150 and I would concur, but weight is a hard thing to judge, especially when they are full of calf elk.
