Does anyone have much experience in archery hunting nevada. I am going to try for a tag this year in unit 271-272, 251-254.

Those are some good units; pretty much every unit in NV has animals though, and it's easier to draw archery tags than rifle.

pretty tough. go to a wal-mart parking lot and drop your 3d deer off at one end, then try to sneak up on it from the other end. its very open, but at same time its very fun. youll definetly enjoy the challenge

Be sure and check the wind though... wouldn't want it to catch your draft and run off on you !!

Nevada is a great archery state, I have been lucky enough to draw twice and had a great time both years!! Lots of animals and very demanding high altitude hunt.. I am 1 buck in 2 years, with having missed 2 great bucks above 180. After the misses, I shot a 153 velet buck i took in the second year, he just looks good on the wall! My friend drew my tag this year and he had several misses but a heck of a good time!! Looking forward to drawing it again soon.. maybe this year?????

Agreed, I would throw units 221, 241 and 101 on your applications before the the units that you mentioned.
