We were up in unit 65, not far from Silverjack and the ATV parade. The only hunters we saw were on the road cruising. If people dismount and hunt, tomorrow will be a blood bath up there.

This thread is one of the best I've seen in a while and the picture of your son with his first elk in that snow storm typifies elk hunting in my mind. Congrats on the hunt, the kill, and the time spent in the field with your son.
