Moosie, guess you're right, I don't know your wife. I just know if I told my wife I wouldn't be home for thanksgiving, and she said "fine" I'd for dang sure be at the table on Thursday. Congrats on a good deer, ( and dear for that matter), I settled for a forkie this year, the smallest mule deer buck I've ever killed, but that's a story for another thread.

The black powder thing can get you hooked. They are my hands down choice for deer.{ Maybe this 30-06 is some kind of bad ju-ju for me.} Looks like another FUN hunt for Moosie. Congrats.
