My BC Mountain Grizz Hunt

Hey All,

Been a while since I posted here but was browsing some grizz stuff the other day and thought I'd share pics of my first ever grizz! Shot him on the 21st of May in Northern BC.

Ruger M77 338WM with 210gr TSX did the trick!

Wow, can't imagine being in the woods where those big guys live and not having my head on a swivel!

If the road behind you all is open, that would make the pack-out the world's easiest!!

Geeze, that thing is a beast. Congrats! Did the bullet exit?

Yep, no bullets recovered. Ended up shooting him the one time at 140 yards which flattened him and a killing shot from much closer to finish the job quickly. Bullet performance was exactly as expected and bear went about 3-4 feet. If it was flat ground he would have gone less! Haha
