My 2017 Trophy Bull

After a big snow storm and some real cold weather it was time to put an elk in the freezer. At first light I glassed up 4 bulls bedded on an exposed ridge. About an hour later I had my public land bull down.

May not be a trophy to some....however, this is worth about 100" in my book! In case you can't see it, that's a WHOLE ELK in the back of the truck. A first for me!

Nice. A bull out whole is good. Your chains are on the wrong end though. mtmuley
 
My dad always told me the definition of a trophy elk is one you can back the truck up to. That’s awesome. Congratulations!
 
I'm a firm believer that you get B & C points added to the score the closer to the road the elk comes from Not advocating road hunting just advocating easy elk. Congrats!
