Montana cow tags are drawn, help needed

my son drew youth cow tag in 620-621-622, been over there a little bird hunting, didnt see much for elk,

anyone wanna share some starting points for scouting for my son, his first biggame hunt with a custom 7x57 i built him,,,

probably take my mules just for exercise,,,

i drew cow tag for 702-704-705, never been down there, will try to make a combo hunt down there if i draw an antelope tag,,,,

Nothing like drawing a tag that has already burned a quarter million acres. It would be wise to make a scouting trip - I got a feeling things are going to be different.
