Another project that I have abandoned in an attempt to clean out the safe to make room for more practical and lighter rifles.

Kodiak Arms Mauser in 30-06. This particular rifle began its life as a WWII FN Mauser Model 98 and was modified by Kodiak Arms some time between 1959-1973. It has a 19.5" barrel and weighs about 8.5lbs with the scope and mounts. Included is a Browning 4-12x40 riflescope, Millett Mil-Loc rings, and Picatinny Base. The trigger has been replaced with a Timney and is very crisp and light. The included scope was manufactured by Bushnell for Browning and has the exact specs of the Bushnell Elite 3200 line of scopes making it a good quality scope. The stock is an unknown make but I suspect it is on the low end. In full disclosure I have not fired this rifle as it was destined to become a 9.3x62 but I decided that I didn't "need" another heavy rifle in the safe.

$375 includes shipping to the Lower 48...accepting cash, USPS Money Order, or Paypal (plus 3% fee)

Took the base off and discovered extra mounting holes. It shouldn't affect the current bases but does affect the value. A gunsmith can easily weld the holes shut. $250 buyer pays shipping...I make the rare trip to Missoula & Bozeman so I can deliver if you buy me a couple beers at a taproom.

Looking to purchase a home so funds will go towards closing costs if my offer is accepted.

Thanks Mthuntr! Cool gun. It should make a nice custom. The scope is definitely a bonus, better than I expected. It was a pleasure doing business with you.
