Looks like the rut is close. Hunted a couple of mornings last week and saw a few little bucks. Big ones aren't moving in the daylight yet. All three of these pics were right under my tree stand. Hopefully one will show in the daylight next week and get an arrow in him. Good luck to the rest of you guys hunting. Spending the next two weeks after these guys.

I watched a big N.Idaho whitey on thursday chasing a doe right along a highway up there. I really wished I could have stopped and pursued him. I'd say the rut is starting to hit up there.

On the MT side of the border the rut's hit big time.
My buddy whacked a really nice 4x5 on Saturday, and I saw more bucks yesterday alone than I've seen all year.
