Howa

One of my roommates has a Howa in a .223 with the same scope and its a nice rifle houge stock and all. I have an older Howa 1500 myself in 7mm mag with a wood stock and it is one of my favorites, I need a new scope for it but its pretty sweet rifle a real tack driver and pretty smooth recoil. I would buy another one in a second.

I have a Howa 1500 with the Houge rubber stock in 270 Win. Other than feeling great and excellent accuracy, compared to other brands, that houge stock seems to absorb alot of the recoil. When I had my Savage 270, I had a limbsaver recoil pad on it. DOnt need it with the Howa/Houge rifle. Im looking at getting one in 308 Winchester sometime over the winter. IM sure you will enjoy that Howa duckhunt.

My HOWA .223 W/the Blackhawk stock shoots very well.. I try to stick to mostly American-made guns, but I also realize just about all of my rifles made in the last 10-20 years are made from some parts that have been imported.
