Good job Randy! At least you didn't have to work very hard for that buck.
It would've been a simple slide down to that reclaimed road. Then another 8 miles to the gate where I could've been picked up.
Didn't come out that way. 11 hours from gunshot to closing the tailgate even with taking the shorter way.

The help he called in worked pretty darn hard. The little man did most of the hard labor though.

Hey, looks like you got that monkey off your back for this year. Good job Randy.
I would've been screwed if my dad and brother (mz28) weren't able to meet me in there with a sled to throw it on. I hate dragging critters, but with snow like that, and the old road system, the sled works. Had I had someone else hunting with me it would've came out on our backs, but there's no way I was going to get it out in one trip by myself, especially stumbling through that snow.
