My dad, nephew and I were successful in drawing permission slips for this HMA in unit 48. We all have 48-1 tags. I know very little abut this HMA since I haven't been much farther south in the unit than Kortes dam. I figured it would be worth a shot to put in for one of the 50 permission slips. I believe it is around 95,000 acres of checkerboard private/BLM. Anybody had any experience in the area?

My family drew three Hanna Draw permits.

Awesome! Good luck to you all. We are going to camp up somewhere along the miracle mile, assuming we can get a spot. Looking forward to the fishing again as well as chasing some speed goats. It will be my nephews first antelope hunt.

Never hunted there, but driven through the Hanna area several times and always see lots of animals.

We'll probably camp along the river over in 63 for a couple days this October, my pard has a doe tag there we'll fill after our buck tags a ways east.

Hi I know this is an old post but we just pulled Hanna Draw permits so wondering how everyone's hunts went and if you had any info this HMA or Unit 48 for that matter? Thanks

I think if you have a low hunter density, high antelope density, limited draw HMA then the hunt itself should be pretty straightforward… but I’ve never hunted it before. I’ve heard good things about it, though

Should have put in for this unit this year. Good luck.
