Sixth grader wants to bow hunt. I never have, but willing to give it a go. Do any of you have kids who are into it? Would like to show him some pics.

I don't have any pics but I can recomend some youth bows my wife wanted to start shooting bow so we looked at youth bows for her shes small lol

Thanks any comment welcome. Willing to get him setup, but am a little concerned that he may lose interest as kids that age do so don't want to tie up a chunk of change. Very smart kid, but thinks archery is more humane that rifle. I want him to make his own decision, but not at the expense of my wallet. His little bro is totally different, he just wants to go hunt with Pop Pop, but needs another year or so before hunter ed.

Totally forgot about bow fishing! Spent hours and hours doing that as a kid, but not with the kinds of bows we have now days.

even with todays bow its capable of being done, but you can start him with lower priced bow and just buy a set up for it for 30 bucks and ur good to go
