I have been looking into getting a traditional bow and have been looking at the Hoyt Fred Eichler Bows. Does anyone use them. What is the pros cons of this type of traditional bow.

I have shot the original Buffalo bows and they shot like a dream. It looks like the signature series has a different riser design and limb attaching system. I have heard that they are lighter and more sturdy and quieter. In my opinion, Fred is huge in the traditional side of the sport and I don't think he'd put his name on something that sucked. I'd get one if I was in the market for a new trad bow.

I have no info on Hoyt but I got a gerber bow last fall and it's amazing, I'm looking to get another for my wife. I really can't recommend them enough.

I shoot a Martin Hunter (Damon Howatt Hunter) bow and really like it a lot! It is a nice smooth shooting bow. Many folks told me when I was looking for a recurve to shoot one of these.
