Filled my last antelope tag for 2015.
Nice fat doe at about 90 yards.
Took my dad's .375 Winchester out last night and missed high on a doe at 160 yards. Awesome stalk and a ton of fun but his Ruger No. 3 is just not an antelope gun. I tried. Maybe get out after some deer here later in the year, elk in the thick timber. I don't know. Just didn't quite feel right.
Was out today sighting in my .270 and saw a small group of antelope a ways off. Snuck up behind a ridge and popped over the top. They were feeding 80 yards off (perfect range for the .375) and I was able to take the largest doe in the group.
Think the .270 is ready for bigger and better things.
