My first trout EVER was a brook trout taken on Petty Creek out of Alberton, MT in summer 1967. I took it with a 39-grain hollow-point from a Ruger Single-Six revolver that I still own. The fish was in a shallow pool when I shot it. I was 18 years old. Am I beyond the statute of limitations?
