Truth be told, it was a gut shot. No blood trail. I spotted her in a thick draw a couple miles and a couple ridges over, that was 7hrs post shot and she was still on her feet. I watched her bed and we went back in the following morning to find a dead cow right where i had put her to bed at. Luck was on our side as well that day.

That is very cool! Would love to get my dad out west for a hunt but don't think his heart could take it. So I cherish every moment I get to hunt with my dad.
