There are wilderness areas near the Ennis/ Madison Valley area where you can get away from the atv crowd.

The 104 unit in SW Wyoming gave out 700 extra cow tags this year and you are allowed to get more than one cow tag. The season is open from Oct 15th till Dec 14th. Once a little bit of snow is on the ground it is pretty easy to get an elk as long as you are willing to park and walk a bit. I got my 2nd cow last weekend with minimal effort and not a whole lot of scouting

I have been doing a ton of research online lately regarding next years hunt. A few have mentioned doing a muzzleloader hunt in CO. I was looking at draw odds and harvest stats last night and it appears that it is a good option for both cow and bull elk. Are there any specific units to maybe focus on or to avoid?
