Currently planning an archery hunt with a couple friends for 2014. Do the units change from year to year as to what will be otc and what will not? If that makes sense.

Currently planning an archery hunt with a couple friends for 2014. Do the units change from year to year as to what will be otc and what will not? If that makes sense.

My understanding is they keep the draw hunts and the OTC areas stay fairly stable year to year, with some slight changes occasionally. If you have concerns on a particular hunt, call the biologist for the area and ask if there is anything in the works for the hunt to become a draw hunt.

If you send for the NR. application book or check it out on their web site there will be maps showing all the OTC and limited units for archery and firearms,shows which units very clearly,good luck
