Archery technique?

And all these years I have been using the wrong technique to shoot my bow. This is the French President shooting with the French Olympic team.

I've come along way from my early days way back in the 1980's.

This reminds me of the French army tank. If I recall correctly it has one forward gear and 5 reverse.
