A Question about Montana...

I have been looking at the Montana hunt planner this morning and I have a few questions about what I am seeing. I will be in Wyoming this fall, but that big game combo for Montana has me interested in trying it out at some point in the future. I like to keep my options open.

My question is...when I click on the hunt district webpage, if it lists only a "general' license (like HD 452) , am I correct in assuming that this is a general tag?

Also, I am assuming if it lists a "elk permit" (like HD 448) it is a draw area?

It just has me kind of confused. I'm guessing that they have it listed this way on the planner because you first have to have the general tag, and then apply for the draw tags if I'm not mistaken. At first it makes it look like you could hunt any unit in the state on a general until you see that "draw only" permit

Also, if anyone knows of a list of the "general" HD, I'd like to have a link to it if possible.

Thanks for the help!
Derek

Thanks Beartooth, I'm not sure how I overlooked that on the website. I think that clears up all of my questions!
