308 Bullet Selection (factory loads)
Don't rule out 168 gr. Historically the 308 has loved 168's... I shoot Barnes TTSX 168 for hunting through my 308 and it cloverleaf's at 100 all day.. For paper punching I shoot Federal Gold Medal Match 168.. Also Federal has come out with 168 grain hunting ammo this year too... Nosler has some... -

Just got a Christensen Arms Ridgeline in .308, for anyone that has this rifle.......
I shoot a Ridgeline in 308. I have found the following ammo to work the best out of my rifle. Hunting: Barnes TTSX 168 gr Paper Punching: Federal Gold Medal Match 168 gr I tried Hornady 165 SST and 178 gr ELDx and was unable to get the rifle to maintain groups of any sort. That was sad because... -

Well after reading over again the only thing I like is the ability to move around and find public land, worked good for archery season... Didn't like being confined to a ranch when I drew a rifle tag... The changes sure seem to lower the odds of ever drawing again though..- bushwcker

You'll want to pay close attention to that onxmaps... Lots of private land and very little hard to access public, but plenty of goats.. Don't hesitate to knock on some doors and ask permission. -

Be the Decoy Antelope Hat
I've got one and it works... If your worried about other hunters/getting smoked put on your orange... I tied a couple of 3' orange ribbons to the horns and sat out in the middle of a pasture, after about 20-30 minutes I had about 15 lopes nearly run me over till they winded me.. Its great fun... -

Why do Wyoming Antelope dates very so much depending on the unit?
I don't know for 100%, but was told that it helps move the limited number of game wardens around the state. -

Anyone tried cryotherapy?
Decompression machine? Sounds like you have a good chiro. I forgot if you can find some one who does myofascial massage(deeper than deep tissue massage), holy heck that works great..- bushwcker

This saved my lower back. It takes a little time, stay with a program, do it a few times a day for as long as you can, I can literally fall asleep at full inversion, very relaxing. Then get to work on your lower back muscles, glutes etc.., make them strong and your pain should go away...- bushwcker

New Mexico unit 58??
That is one of the better units for lopes. I've bow hunted up there, back when you could draw a tag... Some nice ones up there, take your friend up on his offer...
