Going in with 3 points. My question is if we do not want to buy another point we just apply in the regular draw? My 3 points go towards the first choice unit?

I assume the pronghorn is the same as the elk. I just did my elk this year and you have the option to buy a point now with the drawing or you can buy your point later in the year. The point will not count for this years drawing anyways. You have that option for regular or special draw. Your odds of drawing are usually just better in the special draw. If your unit only takes 3 points than no need to spend the extra money. Points only go towards your first choice unit.
