I'm in DC for a while, maybe a year or more.

Anyone know any places nearby that I could go for a hunt on? Work is getting stressful and I need to relax. I like providing for myself and spending some me time in the woods with some white tails would be great.

Welcome! I spent some time there, was fortunate to escape about 6 years ago. These links should help. There are some hunting opportunities on some of the Wildlife Refuges and Military Bases also, but I'm not too familiar with those any more. Also, check out the Virginia Quota Hunts and the Virginia State Forests, some decent opportunities there.

I hear there's some pretty decent Cougar hunting around the Old Ebbit Grill. :)

Welcome. Maryland & Virginia seem to be your best options from what I can see.

Welcome! Definitely check the links Jwill posted. There are some decent spots here in VA within 1-2 hours from DC. Good Luck and PM me if you want any additional info.

Cougars in the DC area are especially dangerous! I was attacked several times before I got my magic ring

Welcome! The sites posted will get you started. Take a look at some of the wilderness areas if you want to get away from people. I think its phelps wma in Fauquier co. that has a good reputation. Im not as familiar with Maryland but I always have wanted to hunt sika on Asateague island.

As far as cougars go, try to find one in Loudon co. with a couple hundred acres to hunt and you'll never get bored with the numbers of deer.
