Montana Non-Resident Preference Points

Hello guys, Does anyone know if the new Montana Non-Resident Preference point application can be used for Sheep or Goat? It just says it can be used to accumulate points for "Big-Game" and "Big-game Combo" licenses. This will be my first year applying in Montana and I have had a hard time getting through on the phone to ask. Thanks, Jamie

I'm pretty sure they're a completely separate thing. I don't think the changes this year affected MSG, just the big game combo licenses. You need to apply separately for moose/sheep/goat in the fall.

For the game points are purchased for only. Wouldn't be fair to use accumulated elk/deer/antelope preference points to apply for moose/sheep/goats. MTG
