Wyoming units 18/19

Will be visiting Wyoming for the first time with She Who Must Be Obeyed.
I bought some doe tags hoping to find some public land to hunt in October. There appears to be some huntable areas in Thunder Basin NGL.
If we have anyone here with knowledge of the area, you input would be greatly appreciated.

Hunted Unit 7 a couple years ago near Newcastle. Eat the prime rib at the Pizza Barn

Drove through Rocky Point & Lightning Flats 10 years ago and there were goats in that area. Remember that was a long time ago. Really no reason to drive through Rocky Point unless you are lost or live there. Best to get a map of public lands.

Its late but get on the phone to the local game biologist and/or game warden. They are real helpful or that's been my experience.
